"Back to the Sketch Board"

Almost every fashion designer sketches before making their fashion design come to life. Sometimes they don't follow the sketch or make minor changes, but a sketch is still the base work of a design.

Every designer tests theirself to see if they can make the design wanted by the customer. Imagine that every monthly challenge is what a customer wants and try to fulfill their desire. Imagine... you could win an iPod!

New Year, New Rules

Yes! We successfully made it through one full year of Claire Ann! There was a little confusion over the yearly competition, therefore, we gave out TWO shuffle iPods. So we don't have the same confusion, we will be adjusting the rules.

It is easier for us to manage the sketches if you submit them online. If you do not have access to a camera to upload photos, please e-mail us or use the Send Feedback. 

It is our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! This month, we will hold no monthly sketches contest, but we will be doing something special which will be announced shortly.

Everybody knows that the popular fashion in the the 1960's was Hippie. That was all about peace, balance, and being care free. The fashion trends where tie-dye, peace signs, loose clothes, and all of that great stuff. But what was the era of fashion that just past? (2000-2010) What was the music and the trends? It is our time, but yet we don't know what is going on. Here are some possibilities of what the 00's fashions could be remembered as.

 

Pants around the knees

Skinny Jeans

Tank over T-Shirt

Short White Shorts

Mini Skirts

 

Maybe this era could be the era of:

Hip Hop

Rap 

Gangster

 

You never know. Maybe in ten years or so people might be saying "remember the days when we were rappers?"

Good Critiques

Sketches requested to have GOOD CRITIQUES ONLY from administration may get them. Good critiques are compliments such as:

 

"The star designs on the left hip were a nice touch!"

 

"The dress is so inspiring and looks young and modern!"

 

There will be no nast critiques such as:

 

"I don't like the fringe added at the bottom of the dress!"

 

"That style would only look good on my grandma!"

 

These critiques are just to motivate you!

Future Fashion Trends

It is really hard to predict what future of fashion will bring. 50 years ago, no one would have guesses what our outfits are today. Fashion isn't always about wearing the same kind of clothes as everybody else. It is mostly about making yourself unique. What do you think the people of future will look like.
